Textbooks and Lab Materials

Students will be required to procure their own textbooks and materials required for each course of their assigned seminary school curriculum, which will require outside reading and research. Books will be available from the CTS Online Bookstore, which is operated by Christianbook.com as an Affiliate Partner. Shipping and handling fees of $25.00 will be applied to each course where it is necessary to send core materials to students when email attachments are not practical. In addition, remember that all tuition costs and fees apply to every course undertaken.

International Students

Will subsequently be billed for actual shipping and handling expenses. Some programs may be discouraged for students in foreign countries because of new international shipping regulations and the attached high costs. Colorado Theological Seminary strives to make our Christian college as affordable as possible, especially with regard to all international tuition and other associated fees for participants.

CTS Terms and Conditions

Withdrawal – All withdrawal notices must be made in writing and sent as a postal letter, faxed letter, or within the body of an email. The withdrawal date is confirmed upon receipt by the Seminary. Send withdrawal notices to: Colorado Theological Seminary, Administrative Offices, 333 Colony Blvd, #216, The Villages, FL 32162; by email to info@seminary.ws; by fax to (866) 452-4253. To telephone, call (866) 452-4253 or (303) 532-1584.

Withdrawal policies may also involve specific Administration Fees.

Discontinuance of lesson submissions or failure to make tuition payments does not constitute a statement of withdrawal from our online university.  Students who are experiencing study or financial difficulties should first seek consultation before making a final decision. A student’s financial obligations to the Seminary will continue until receipt of an official withdrawal request. It is important to understand that all policies about tuition and fees remain in effect throughout your enrollment.

Refund of the Enrollment Fee – The $125 Enrollment Fee covers the cost of assessing the application, transcript analysis, interactions with the prospective student, and the presentation of an official program enrollment offer, and as such is not refundable.

Additionally, the Administration Fees contribute to various institutional services.

Understanding the breakdown of costs, including affordable seminary tuition, helps students make informed decisions about their education.

Refund of Tuition payments – Course tuition fees are not refundable, regardless of how long the student has been in possession of the materials or how long they have been in the program.  As a non-profit organization, CTS utilizes funds as they are received.  Students on payment plans are consumers of educational services that the institution is continuously providing; the student’s tuition payments fund these services daily until such a time as the student either pays his or her tuition in full, or officially withdraws according to the withdrawal policy.  The institution is dedicated to providing ongoing service during the period of the student’s enrollment. Furthermore, all tuition together with any fees contribute to the ongoing support of these services.

These services include (but are not necessarily limited to) academic advising, program-level course study guides, personal online program guide, qualified faculty support, bookstore services, dedicated telephone and email communication services, administrative services, program consultation, grade and transcript record keeping, secure data warehousing, secure international banking services for the payment of program tuition and fees, official Web site services, regular information messages, and opportunities for external experiences and services.   It is the student’s responsibility to take advantage of these services and work toward the online program completion. Therefore, there is no tuition refund.

Transcript and Diploma Policy (C.R.S. 23-5-113.5)

Colorado Theological Seminary requires tuition to be paid in full before a student begins a course. Because of this, students do not carry outstanding balances, and CTS does not withhold transcripts or diplomas, place registration holds, offer payment plans, or send student accounts to collection agencies. Current and former students may request an official transcript or diploma at any time by contacting [office/email/phone]; the only charge is the standard fee of $15 to cover the cost of producing it. If CTS ever withheld a transcript or diploma over a debt, the student would still receive it if they showed it was needed for a job application, a transfer to another school, a financial aid application, military or National Guard service, or another educational opportunity.

Students who believe a transcript or diploma has been improperly withheld may file a complaint with the Colorado Student Loan Ombudsperson in the Colorado Attorney General’s Office (CSLSA@coag.gov) or with the Administrator of the Colorado Uniform Consumer Credit Code at coag.gov.
