The Seminary Doctrine Of Our School
The seminary doctrine teaches the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God. (2 Peter 1:21, 2 Timothy 3:1)- There is one God eternally existent. Furthermore, the seminary doctrine affirms this foundational belief. (Gen 1:1, 1 John 5:7)
- In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal future return to this earth in power and glory to rule over the nations. The seminary doctrine covers these essential truths. (Isa 9:6, Isa 7:14, Acts 1:10-11, Acts 7:55-56)
- The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ. Also, believers will find this affirmed in the seminary doctrine. (Acts 3:19, 1 John 2:2, Heb 9:22, Acts 2:38, Rom 3:25, Eph 1:7)
- Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation. (1 Cor 12:13, John 3:36)
- The redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer. (Isa 53:5, Acts 3:16, 1 Peter 2:24, James 5:13-15)
- The baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it. Clearly, the seminary doctrine states this as a key principle. (Acts 2:4, Luke 11:13)
- In the sanctifying of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a holy life. (Acts 1:8, Eph 4:1, Phil 1:27)
- In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation. (Rev 20:4-5, 1 Thess 4:17, Rev 20:11
